Ok so as promised here are the details of the trip.  We decided to go with a company called delta tours. http://www.deltatoursegypt.com/ check out the Sun Ray tour for more details. Here is the short version with the Norm add on.

- Today we started working on the first aid kits..  Insect repellent, Lip chap with SP15... Egypt is hot and dry.  Motion sickness pills for Grace.. Yes she does lose it from time to time. Antidiarrheal medicine. No explanation needed.  We have a few more thing to go but we mostly have it together.  We now need to find out how our health insurance works in a foreign country. Most likely not at all, but it's worth a check.

- We have long flights, HNL To Houston and then Houston to Cairo.  For me I have a very hard time keeping awake, as for everyone else we need good head sets.. My mom had a very nice set of broken Bose noise canceling head phones. (I found that the ear phone breaking off is a known issue with the early bose head phones.)  I spent tonight trying to glue them together just to make them usable. Maybe they're good, maybe not. Looks like we will be taking super glue for possible in flight repairs. Grace had a few Ipod earphone and I found another nice set for Kyle. Check that off the list.
